At the Abbeyfield Caerphilly Society Ltd we aim to provide comfort and care for our residents without impeding their mobility or independence.
Both of our houses have easy access to local amenities and Caerphilly town centre, and all residents are free to come and go as they please. 

Our accommodation is designed for residents who are still mobile enough to prepare their own breakfast, but all other meals are provided.

Our sheltered housing provides comfortable accommodation in a social and stimulating environment and many of our residents feel improvements both physically and mentally while staying with us.

Facilities include:

  • Private rooms with en suite toilets and hand basins (en suite showers also available in one house)
  • Resident house manger and paid cleaner
  • Call alarm system
  • Adapted bathrooms and stairlifts
  • Shared dining room and sitting room
  • Fully equipped laundry rooms

  • Ample parking for residents and visitors
  • Television and private telephone sockets
  • Hobbies and interests are encouraged and social activities are arrange

We also provide:

  • Regular visits from the hairdresser, chiropodist, members of the clergy, doctors and district nurses
  • Assistance with arrangements for visits from home helps or care assistants to provide personal care
  • Health and action plans which are monitored and updated every six months
